ASUS Zenpad 3S 10 Spotted at Computex 2017 with Android Nougat on Board (Video)

By Radu Iorga

The ASUS ZenPad 3S 10 tablet was released last summer, with Android Marshmallow on board and apparently it has been spotted at Computex 2017, with Nougat on board. The slate has solid specs even today and it has aged very well. The folks of have seen it in action with the new software.

They also put the device through a short hands on, to see what Nougat brought new to the scene. As usual for this software release, it brings improved battery life, revamped notifications and Quick Settings, plus split screen multitasking. The ZEN UI is present here, with its usual bubbles for Quick Settings and a ton of options for customization.

The device launched with a MediaTek hexa core processor last year, plus a 9.7 inch 2048 x 1536 pixel display and 4 GB of RAM. It also brought an 8 MP back camera, a 5900 mAh battery and the waistline was a mere 7.2 mm. 32 GB of storage were also available, but there was also a 64 GB version. It’s a very good looking slate, thanks to its unibody metal case. also did a hands on with the Nougat tablet below, so you can see what’s new.

If you own the device, my guess is that you should get the Android 7.0 software over the next days.
