HP Spectre x360 Gets Two New 13 inch and 15.6 Inch versions, With Premium Specs

HP is on fire, so fresh after unveiling an EliteBook convertible, they also debuted new models within the Spectre x360 convertible devices. The lineup is getting a new design and boosted performance, in two versions: 13 inch and 15.6 inches.

HP highlights the longer battery life and improved performance compared to the predecessors, plus promises 4G LTE with Gigabit level speeds. The design not offers an elegant “dark ash silver with copper luxe accents”. Or you can go with blue with pale brass accents. The laptops will be available next month starting at $1150 for the 13 inch HP Spectre. That one weighs 2.9 pounds and measures 0.6 inches in thickness, plus it packs a 1080p touchscreen display.

It also has two Thunderbolt 3 ports, two Type-C ports, one regular USB Type-A, audio jack and microSD. A Core i7 8th gen CPU is inside, as well as 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of PCIe storage. Quad speakers are included as well, plus a backlit keyboard, fingerprint scanner and Windows Hello IR camera. HP promises 22 hours of battery life here courtesy of a 61 Wh.

 

The 15 inch version is the HP Spectre x360 priced at $1390 and it comes with a numeric pad right next to the keyboard. Discrete graphics are here, which is something you won’t find on the smaller unit. HP Spectre x360 15 comes with up to a hexa core Intel Coffee Lake-H CPU, GeForce GTX 1050Ti Max-Q Graphics and 16 GB of RAM, plus 512 GB of storage. That’s best case scenario, since the starting price gives you a Core i7 8th gen, MX150 graphics and 8 GB of RAM. 256 GB of storage only.

On the connectivity front we’ve got HDMI 2.0, USB Type-A, USB Type-C, Thunderbolt 3 and audio jack, as well as microSD. And of course, the format is versatile between the touchscreen display, rotating 360 degree format and Windows Ink support. This can easily be used as a tablet.
