Samsung’s latest midrange and budget tablet are ready to debut in USA. We’re talking about the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e and Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2019, that will come to the States in April 26th. Let’s see what they have to offer.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e, which debuted in February is a 10.5 inch slate with a 2560 x 1600 pixel AMOLED screen, plus a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor and a starting price of $400. Then there’s the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1, with a 10.1 inch Full HD screen and an Exynos 7904 processor. The starting price is $230 and both units are up for preorders from April 12th.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e comes with either 4 or 6 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of storage, as well as a microSD card slot. The quad speakers are certainly appealing, as are the 13 MP back camera and 8 MP front shooter. You can even hook up a keyboard via the pogo pins. There’s also WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and a 7040 mAh battery, plus Android 9.0 Pie.
Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2019 comes with 2 or 3 GB of RAM, from 32 to 128 GB of storage, a microSD card slot, a 8 MP main camera and a front 5 MP shooter. Android Pie is also here, there’s a 6150 mAh battery and the whole thing weighs 470 grams. The higher end unit is expected to offer 14 hours of run time or more and I’ve heard that there should also be some stylus action in the mix.
