Xiaomi Foldable Phone Rumored to Cost Half of the Galaxy Fold; Debut Expected in Q2 2019

By Radu Iorga

Samsung and Huawei already brought foldable phones into the mainstream, but their prices are very high. We’re talking about $2000 for the Galaxy Fold and $2600 for the Huawei Mate X. Xiaomi is now said to seriously undercut them by prepping a $1000 foldable phone.

A recent report by iGyaan mentions that Xiaomi’s foldable smartphone, dubbed Mi Fold or Mi Flex right now is going to be priced at $999 in USA or 999 euros in Europe. In India it should cost around $1087. The debut of the product is scheduled for sometime between April and June and it’ll first happen in China, followed by separate launches in other global markets.

The device will cost half of the Galaxy Fold because it uses OLED panels made by Visionox Technology, a company I must admit I haven’t heard of. We’ll see if the panels are half as good as the Galaxy Fold and Mate X ones. The source also mentions flagship specs for the device, including a Snapdragon 855 CPU, 10 GB of RAM and I also expect a dual or triple camera on board.

There was a video surfaced online for the device back in January, that revealed its dual folding nature. It’s not very clear if that format is still on the table, since it would make the device pretty pricey.

Nuu Mobile G3 AND G3 Plus Get a Big Price Cut On Amazon

By Tim

I noticed today that Nuu Mobile has reduced the price on the G3 down to $179.99 I am of the opinion that this is probably an attempt to clear stock before the release of the G4 model, which is due in just a few weeks.

If the G3 seemed like a great deal at $200, at $180 it is a heck of a deal. So if you have been holding off on getting one of these, now is the time to pull the trigger. The G3 Plus is now at $199.00.

Below you will find the buy or don’t buy video I shot on it about a month or so ago.

Tonight’s Video Worth Sharing: P20 Knockoff Phone Giveaway | We Choose The Winner!

By Tim

Tonight we are doing the P20 Knockoff phone giveaway! Not much to say because as of the time I typed this up, the actual name choosing was about 12 hrs away.

Videos or Links Mentioned in the video:
None

So as of this posting here you can see that we have done the giveaway!

Seriously, I will probably not do another until we get some subscribers and folks who share our videos!

I might change my mind, but we really need channel and web page help. I am tired of running a 100% loss channel with very little reurn in gratitude for the time and money I spend.

All that being said, I was actually glad to send the P20 knockoff phone to someone who does participate and seems to be quite technically apt!

So watch the video below and see who won! It could have been you if you subscribed and entered…just saying! Make sure to share this video everywhere!

Now, on to the video with no further poor typing by me!

Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 Already Rendered, Courtesy of Concept Creator

By Radu Iorga

Samsung Galaxy Fold is not even out yet and there’s already a Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 concept out there. There’s plenty to correct and fix and designer Concept Creator did it all. Let’s check out his concept.

The device fixes the format of the Galaxy Fold, that left a lot of room unused. A novelty is the stylus slot and the product has a rectangular approach, unlike the square one of the original. The two parts now come together as one, completely sandwiched and without leaving empty room or space between the parts.

The notch has been replaced with a camera cutout within the screen. We still have plenty of screen estate, with the main folding screen at 7.2 inches and another extra screen outside, at 5.4 inches. The big screen panel includes a dual camera cutout and a Time of Flight sensor, which feel a bit overkill for a supposedly front camera.

The amount of detail and work involved in this concept is downright impressive. Just the sync of the frames with the music must’ve been hard. I’m getting some serious Samsung Galaxy W vibes here, when the device is closed and it looks much better than the Galaxy Fold 1. The stylus feels like overkill. I’d take this over the Huawei Mate X.
