Today’s First Video Worth Sharing: ALLDOCUBE KNote 5 2 in 1 Tablet PC, Hands On and Review

By Tim

This video comes to us from Chris over at TechTablets.com and is an interesting product. The Alldocube KNote 5 is a decent, but far from stellar 11.6 inch tablet with a keyboard case.

As usual for inexpensive tablets this one lacks decent speakers, which of course is easily cured a headphones or Bluetooth speakers. The display is a very decent , but not all that bright, IPS type and the device also does have a 128 GB SSD drive, which is nice to see.

This one also has an N4100 Intel Celeron processor and 4 GB of DDR4 RAM.

It is currently available at Gearbest for $309 at the time of this posting.

So below is the video and make sure to check out the TechTablets channel on YouTube for similar content to this!

AlldoCube KNote5 is a New Celeron N4100 Tablet With Windows 10

By James A.

AlldoCube is probably one of those Chinese tablet makers you haven’t heard of, but they may just be worth your time. They’ve debuted a new device called KNote 5 and it comes with a Celeron N4100 Gemini Lake CPU, plus Windows 10.

The same CPU has been seen on various laptops, mini desktops and other gizmos over the past months. This is a premiere though: the first tablet with Windows 10 and the Gemini Lake chip. We’re dealing with an 11.6 inch slate that relies on an Intel Celeron N4100 quad core chip, with a starting price of $360 on AliExpress. There’s also a tablet keyboard bundle available, at $460.

Since it’s an entry level machine, I’d say that the IPS Full HD screen isn’t a bad option, plus 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Actually, the storage is quite generous. Those who pay extra get the detachable keyboard cover, turning the slate into a laptop. AlldoCube promises a 30% performance bump over a model that uses a previous gen Celeron processor, with the Intel Apollo Lake architecture.

Specs include dual band WiFi, an USB Type-C port, a microSD card slot and a 2 MP front camera. We’ve also got a battery able to deliver 10 hours of functioning or 13 days of standby time, not half and it’s also able to charge in 2.5 hours, while many tablets easily beat 3 or 4 hours nowadays. Maybe we’ll test one, maybe not. We’ll see.

Today’s First Video Worth Sharing: AllDoCube X1 Tablet/Phone

By Tim

Yes folks, this tablet is an 8.4 inch device that can actually be used as a phone. The device has some flaws and some great features which will be covered by Chris from TechTablets in the video below.

Andrew over at AMDTech brought us a similar unboxing and review about a week ago.

The tablet has the following specs:

  • Android 7.1 OS
  • 8.4 inch IPS 2560 x 1600 display
  • Helio X20 deca Core processor
  • Mali – T880 700MHz GPU
  • 64 GB ROM
  • Dual Sim or Sim and microSD card
  • WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac wireless internet
  • 13 mp rear and 8 mp front cameras
  • Battery: 4500mAh,

This is probably not the device you want to purchase if you want to play games or listen to music, but for basic surfing or using it with Bluetooth headsets it ought to get the job done. Plus it is, after all, a huge phone also!

So let us get right to the video, after once again mentioning to visit and subscribe to the TechTablets channel if you like these sort of honest, nit-picky ,(that is a good thing), reviews.

This device is currently available from Gearbest at $273.

Another Video Worth Sharing: The ALLDOCUBE X1, 8.4 inch Tablet!

By Tim

This one appears for now at least to be a very decent  8.4 inch tablet, at a reasonable price and with some good specs! This initial unboxing and review comes to us from Andrew over at AMDTech and covers the basics.

The basic specs are listed below:

  • Android 7.1 OS
  • 8.4 inch IPS 2560 x 1600 display
  • Helio X20 deca Core processor
  • Mali – T880 700MHz GPU
  • 64 GB ROM
  • Dual Sim or Sim and microSD card
  • WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac wireless internet
  • 13 mp rear and 8 mp front cameras
  • Battery: 4500mAh,

So the specs are pretty decent, although we should wait on the full review to see how it does on battery life.

All the above being said, make sure to visit Andrew’s YouTube channel and  subscribe to it! Now let us get right to that video!

This device is currently available for around $259 at this site.

That is all for now,

Tim

Tonight’s First Video Worth Sharing: AllDoCube Knote 8 Review, A Serious Don’t Buy!

By Tim

This evening we have a full review of the AllDoCube Knote 8 which is a 13.3 inch 2 in one tablet. This product sports some great specs, but, it has some serious issues that make it rather iffy, at best,  to consider purchasing.

This one comes to us from Chris, over at TechTablets and is the usual, excellent nit-picky type review that we all need to really make a decision.

Yes, it has 8 GB RAM and a Core m3-7Y30 processor, but the cons definitely outweigh the pros, considering the $549 price tag and that is without the keyboard/cover!

So let us get right to that video now and remember to check out the TechTablets channel for all sorts of great honest reviews!

That is all I have at this moment,

Tim
