My old BLU Studio Energy 2 is acting very creepy these days. When the phone is off, it still wakes up to fire off the alarm!
This is indeed strange behavior. If you know why, leave a comment below (on YouTube)!
When you turn a phone off, you simply do not expect this sort of behavior. After all, off is off is it not?
But in the video below you will see this behavior in real time with no editing. The phone will be off and the alarm will still wake it somehow and the alarm will go off! Then when you kill the alarm, the phone will go back to being off again.
Yeah, that is a strange conundrum folks!
So let us get right to that short video and you can see it happen yourself.
Tonight we have a very short video explaining that any old smartphone with a large 4000-5000 mAh battery makes a decent charger for devices such as headphones, that is all I have tonight. Video quality was poor and I apologize, but with no power you resort to your backup plan.
Today we have the final review on the Blu Studio Energy 2 (really I swear!). This phone came with a lot of accessories including a TPU case, micro USB OTG adapter, headphones and a screen protector. In the video I will show you why a case is so important for your phone.
I know anyone who has visited this site in the last 2.5 years is tired of hearing about this phone and this should be great news!
There is a very good chance that I might be upgrading my phone here. Obviously I will be hanging on to it for a bit as I test some new hardware out. However I am looking for ideas on ways to give this away.
Of course I think my choice mentioned in the video might be the best one, but I would love some feedback on YOUR thoughts. I am also looking for someone who may be interested in the P20 Pro knockoff phone, with all it’s failings, so leave feedback on that.

So make sure to watch the video, share it everywhere and leave some feedback on it!
So today I ordered a 2 pack of these handy USB C to USB adapters. They were fairly inexpensive on Amazon and I should have them about 4 days.
Now the real question is what the hell does he need one of those for, let alone 2?! So anyone care to hazard a guess? Okay. I don’t hear any guesses, so I believe I’ll shall have to explain why.
The answer is very simple, the Asus Z580CA uses a USB C port and guess what my wireless mouse uses? If you guessed a standard USB port you win the prize! As for why get 2? Well that is the way they are packaged dummy! (just kidding, but it is true)
So I will soon be able to fully exploit this powerful tablet in LogiTab mode! Fully exploiting my Logitech Bluetooth K480 keyboard and my Logitech M325 wireless mouse, in exactly the same way I current use my Dragon Touch X10 tablet. Below are 2 images to show a comparison of the 2 “LogItabs”. The Asus is a bit smaller of course, but a whole lot faster!
That pretty much covers it for this little article…except there is another even smaller LogiTab! Why yes kiddies, the BLU Studio Energy 2 smartphone can also be used with a mouse/keyboard! The video below will show you how it looks…of course remember this is a screen captured video, so the actual display is quite tiny. But it does show how using the included OTG adapter (micro-full USB), allows me to use a mouse and of course, the Bluetooth Logitech K480 keyboard. Why anyone would want to do this, I am not sure…but it can be done!
